Since its formation, STM has managed offshore support activities. These have included customs, vessel, port, and protecting agency and consignation, vessel´s owner representation and consulting, ship management for companies in the Energy industry, leasing offshore service vessels.  STM has been established in Mexico City and Cd. del Carmen, where it maintains management and operation offices.

Between 2004 and 2007, STM provided services of customs agency, port and  protective agency to different national and international companies operating the Oil and Gas field in the Sound of Campeche and in Tampico, Tamps. in the northern Gulf of Mexico specializing in transport, consolidation, importation, customs formalities for spare parts and the temporary importation of offshore service vessels.
